Story:
What? Climbing socks??
Everyone wears socks with their regular shoes right? Why? To stop your feet hurting? To stop your feet and shoes from smelling? To stop sweating?
So why don't we wear socks with our climbing shoes? Because it used to be customary to not wear socks with climbing shoes? Tradition? Culture?Staying 80’s style yet???
Isn’t comfort more important than that? Wearing socks hurts less, smells less, and stops sweaty feet from slipping inside the shoe.
In Japan over 70% of climber’s wear climbing socks with climbing shoes.
While this culture still has not spread to America or Europe yet, once you try it you won’t go back.
The Ergo Comfort and Ergo comfort + are specialist socks designed for climbing shoes so they sit low on the ankle making them almost invisible.
Utilising the seams slippage of the toes and heels is prevented resulting in increased confidence and psych!
Two types utilising different thickness and materials
For ease of putting on and comfort while wearing: Ergo Comfort
For extra friction around the toes and heel for serious climbing:Ergo Comfort +
To say the least, they are comfortable, keep your shoes clean and don’t smell!
Say goodbye to sockless culture and smelly shoes!

Good climbing socks

I’d never seen climbing socks used in the west before so I thought it was a bit funny seeing them used so widely in Japan. Overall I was pretty satisfied with how they feel and perform. They are easy to put on and made my climbing shoes more comfortable and stable while climbing for long periods. Having bought them to try as a novelty, I now prefer to climb with them all the time.
